Droplet, the company behind "It's a Fungible Life" is a bootstrapped web3 startup with bills to pay. Therefore, some of the money raised will be spent to keep the lights on. With some cash in the coffers, they can afford to keep going.
One of the reasons “It’s a Wonderful Life” resonates with so many is because of its take on depression and mental health. A portion of the proceeds from the release will support the Find A Helpline. Find A Helpline is the largest and most reliable helpline dataset in the world, with over 2,000 services providing free, immediate support, in over 140 countries. If you or someone you know is struggling to find hope today or want free support for your mental health, please visit: findahelpline.com.
A portion of the proceeds from the release will also be donated to the Black Women Build. Black Women Build-Baltimore is a homeownership and wealth building initiative that trains Black women in carpentry, electrical, and plumbing by restoring vacant and deteriorated houses in West Baltimore. As depicted in the film “It’s a Wonderful Life,” home ownership is a time tested paths out of poverty and into generational wealth creation.
